Oh my guru!!!!
I can’t believe it’s almost here, Wanderlust is Saturday and I can’t WAIT to teach on Saturday 🙂 I’m prepping my sequence, practicing it over and over again. Not because I’m worried about having it all down, but because I want those who are coming to my class to feel like I really showed up for them, that I’m offering them something fun, playful, and giving them a chance to come back home.
I’m sure I’ve said this before, but our asana practice is all about coming “home”, home in our bodies. We can live anywhere in the world, in a apartment, a mansion, or teepee in the woods, but the reality is our bodies are our homes for our souls. Our body is our home, where we wake up every day of our lives, it is our job to take care of it. To live in it and to be present! Our yoga practice is the opportunity to feel what our experience is, what our bodies are telling us with aches or pains (or openness and ease). I want those that come to my class to connect back home, to enjoy a practice that feels good in their bodies.
what fun things are you up to this week?
