“It ain’t what they call you, it’s what you answer to.” ~W.C. Fields
“I read in a book once that a rose by any other name would smell as sweet, but I’ve never been able to believe it. I don’t believe a rose WOULD be as nice if it was called a thistle or a skunk cabbage.” ~L.M. Montgomery
It seems lately I have seen people transforming and heard people talking about change. I have friends who are kitchen witching, making lotions + potions + soaps, who are learning about herbs + plants, who have decided to make art, write novel or plays, and who are planting (really planning them) gardens. The state of the world is leading people to spark their own transformations and get back to some basics we used to know.
I love seeing people start meditating, yoga, reading, and connecting. This movement towards mindfulness and creating is how we make our world better. Spreading kindness. Living authentically. The time is now.
I have been considering changing the name of my blog… I’ve transformed from Yoga Betty to Blissful Betty ( with a brief stay at Mama. Baby. Yoga.), now it seems it is time again. I’m working on what I really want to share here, it has been all over the place for too long and it is time to get clear about what I want to share here. So, I’ll be back January 16, 2017 with my new blog name, some clearer ideas of what I will be sharing here and a recommitment to share with y’all.
Happy holiday y’all! See you in the new year❤️
