Hey y’all!
I’m Liz Vartanian Esber (LVE).
I’m a yogi, a mama, a writer, and a baker, BUT oh so much more.
I have been teaching yoga since 2010 and have been holding space as a restorative/yin yoga teacher since 2012. Classes often feel like a community hug and students are often surprised with crystals, mantra cards, glitter on the 3rd, or homemade goodies afterwards. My training happened here at YogaYoga Austin, TX and I have been mentoring with Elena Bower for the last year. I have been featured in OM Yoga Magazine with a prenatal sequence and have been highlighted in Origin Magazine. I am the co-author of “The Living Mala” and  “The Living Mantra” as well as the author of “Restore Yourself“, my first solo book all about using restorative yoga as a way to come back to yourself. When I am not teaching yoga, you can find me with my family, where there is good coffee, good friends, toy trucks and a body of water!
I have been day dreaming about this makeover for awhile now. No, I haven’t gotten myself a stylist or had someone help me match my clothes. This makeover here *waves hands around displaying this website* to include what I have wanted for a long time. Life has always been about yoga: on the mat AND off the mat.
What I have wanted to share is this thing we call life.
How we practice.
How I *try* to keep my sh!t together with two little boys.
Why I opt for home made or organic  stuff for home.
How gardening keeps us happy.
Why daily self care is a nonnegotiable.
What creative tools I use.
What we like to eat.
Books we love.
And I have wanted to bring back “Snack & Soundtracks” for awhile now.
YES, I have been wanting to do this makeover for quite some time, I just never thought I had the time. Until now.
I am making the time. The time to write. To share. To get mother loving organized 😉

      1. Of course! A little down dog can make you feel taller, feel calmer, and make you stronger! And that’s just one pose, so 15 minutes if that’s all you have is better than no yoga 🙂

  1. So, I was reading some posts on your blog. Then I read your “about page”. So I clicked over to some of the other places you said you can be found. The last one I looked at has your full name. I used to baby sit a little girl with your name. Did you every live in California? Sometimes it is a small world. 🙂

      1. Yes. I knew it. You look like your mom! My mom and your mom were friends. I don’t even remember how they became friends, but I used to baby sit you. How funny I just did a search on WordPress for “yoga” your site came up. I started reading it. Small world! I was sad when your mom’s life took her out of ours. Ya know? Life does that. Friends sometimes go different ways. We (my mom and I) were sad. We missed you and your family!
